Marvell Recognized as 2023 Bay Area Best Place to Work

Great news! Marvell is excited to share that the company has been recognized in the Best Places to Work 2023 largest company category at the annual awards program produced by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal. Marvell’s inclusion on the annual list was determined by survey results provided voluntarily by company employees. 

“This recognition reflects our focus on cultivating and continuously nurturing a culture where wellness and inclusivity are prioritized,” said Janice Hall, executive vice president, chief human resources officer at Marvell. “We have an incredible, diverse team at Marvell and I’m very proud of our commitment to creating an environment where everyone is supported to do work that matters, while given the opportunity to take ownership of their careers.”

Award applicants were evaluated and ranked across five categories according to the number of Bay Area employees. The winning organizations are those who were rated highest by their own employees in areas such as fun, collaborative culture, compensation and benefits offerings, and management practices. Companies on this list were selected for having exceptional workplaces that foster wellness, morale and culture. 

To this end, over the past year Marvell has enhanced several benefit and program offerings in key areas: 

  • Increased mental health care offerings, focused on individual care that suits personal preferences and lifestyles.
  • Expanded family planning and health care benefits, such as increased adoption and surrogacy reimbursements and fertility coverage, along with extended family leave.
  • Hosted educational trainings and events with a focus on inclusion and diversity, as well as a variety of cultural events and wellness activities.
