Entering the workforce as a new graduate is a big milestone. Marvell aims to set up new grads for success through supportive programming designed to fast-track early career growth and foster community among cohorts.
Approximately 200 new graduate hires across the United States, Canada, and India recently completed the inaugural New Graduate Accelerator Program at Marvell. Through technical learning, professional development and community-building experiences—including connections with senior leaders and engineers across the company—new grads built the technical expertise, skills and relationships needed to navigate the first year at Marvell. Along the way, we also gained a deeper understanding of the company’s business, technology and culture.

My cohort's journey culminated in a poster exposition in Santa Clara, California, where we showcased projects to peers, managers, leaders and fellow employees. From analog IC design and AI-assisted debugging to design verification and content marketing, the projects highlighted the breadth of innovation happening across engineering and business teams at Marvell.
As a new grad in the inaugural cohort of the program, I expanded my technical knowledge and gained helpful skills through professional development, all while connecting with fellow new grads across Marvell. Through my conversations and final poster presentation, I showcased how my work in content marketing—which comes in various mediums such as managing this very blog—amplifies the work others do across the company, highlighting the diverse Marvell product portfolio, award-winning technologies, ecosystem partners and more.
Let’s hear from some of my fellow new grads about their experience in the program:
“With every interaction I made meaningful connections and got a new perspective into the work that goes on at Marvell, whether that be from Sales, Engineering, Finance, etc.,” says Bisher Abou-Alwan from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The ASIC Design Engineer also notes, “The sessions we went through gave me a strong grasp on what a chip development cycle looks like from start to finish and just how vital each of our roles are.”

Bisher presents his poster at the exposition.
“Participating in the poster showcase gave each one of us an opportunity to share our ideas with others,” says Bisher. “I presented a solution on how we can curate AI adoption and enablement for each of our respective workflows. The conversations often went beyond the poster itself, leading to meaningful discussions about productivity, innovation, and the future of engineering workflows. Overall, the showcase proved to me how much we can learn from one another when we openly share our ideas and experiences.”
“The program has helped me grow into my role and contribute to my work more confidently and effectively this past year,” says Britney Pham-Vu. The Austin, Texas, -based Design Verification Engineer notes, “Beyond professional development, one of the most valuable aspects of the program was the opportunity to build connections across the organization.”

Britney explains her poster at the showcase.
“Having a network of people I can reach out to for technical, professional or even recreational discussions is something that would have been difficult to develop organically,” she says, “so I am very grateful for this program's efforts and regard it very highly and fondly. I'm excited for the future cohorts and look forward to applying my learnings as I continue to grow!”
“After spending meaningful time together with the next generation of Marvell through this program, we’ve not only shared a common vision, but also discovered the strength we have to shape it together,” says Software Engineer K Vivek Kumar from India.
Software and Firmware Engineer Pratik Senapati also reflect on his experience in the India cohort: “The New Graduate Accelerator Program is a beautifully succinct way of getting to know your colleagues, learning about the industry and getting out of your comfort zone. Through the program, I made a bunch of friends and even made a poster with one of them!”
“I valued the opportunity to connect with other new grads across different teams, departments, and sites while learning about the wide range of innovative work being done at Marvell,” says Couby Outtara. “As I was still developing my understanding of my role in Advanced Packaging, it was especially valuable to see the bigger picture through the program's technical and non-technical learning opportunities and gain insight into the overall product design process and business.

Couby speaks with a fellow Marvell employee about his poster.
The Advanced Packaging Senior Engineer based in Burlington, Vermont, presented his poster at the exposition as well. “The poster showcase challenged me to test and strengthen my own understanding of the work I do every day,” says Couby. “One of the most interesting aspects of the showcase was seeing how others connected their own work to mine. Those conversations helped us better understand how our work impacts one another and sparked several insightful discussions. Through those interactions, I not only shared my knowledge but also learned new perspectives and valuable insights from others.”
Helping early career employees develop and thrive is a testament to the future of Marvell, which is made possible by managers, mentors and colleagues who shape experiences from day one.
The inaugural NGAP cohort established a strong foundation for the future. As Marvell continues to attract exceptional early-career talent around the world, the program will evolve and expand.
