Marvell Wins Leading EDGE Award for Ara 1.6T Optical DSP

Marvell is the Leading EDGE 2025 winner for its Ara product, a 3nm 1.6 Tbps PAM4 optical DSP platform, which enables the industry’s lowest power 1.6T optical modules. The engineering community voted to recognize the product as a leader in design innovation this year.The EDGE awards celebrate outstanding innovations in product design for the engineering industry that have contributed to the advancement of technology. This award is presented by the Engineering Design & Automation Group, a subset of brands at Endeavor Business Media.
Ara is the industry’s first 3nm 1.6T PAM4 optical DSP platform. Marvell introduced it to meet growing interconnect bandwidth demands for AI and next-gen cloud data center scale-out networks.

Marvell Named to World’s Most Trustworthy Companies List 2025

Marvell has earned a coveted spot in Newsweek and Statista’s global list of the Most Trustworthy Companies for 2025.The top 1,000 companies worldwide across 23 industries were compiled for their good reputation among customers, investors and employees. The publication conducted extensive surveys, reviewing 200,000 company evaluations of brand trust, and utilized social media listening strategies to arrive at these results.
In the Technology Hardware industry category, Marvell sits among industry titans and a total of 45 corporations.
Marvell believes that its achievements in fostering long-standing collaborations and robustly designing award-winning products are what make it a reliable, trustworthy industry leader and partner, thereby earning good credibility among external parties.

Marvell Ranks on the A-List of CDP Supplier Engagement Leaders

Marvell has achieved an A-list ranking in the CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment for the 2024 reporting cycle. Reaching this first-time accomplishment recognizes the company’s efforts and leadership in climate targets, climate risk assessment and management, and engaging with suppliers on climate action and sustainability.
The CDP is the largest sustainability disclosure platform that evaluates how companies are doing in terms of climate action. Specifically, its Supplier Engagement module grades companies’ performance on sustainability governance and business strategy, climate targets, climate risk management processes and Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions which can result from activities outside of companies’ four walls like those from outsourced manufacturing suppliers.

Lightwave+BTR Innovation Reviews Ranks Marvell Products as Among the Industry’s Best

Marvell and IIT Hyderabad Partner to Support India’s Next Generation of Technology Innovators

Did you know that India is estimated to have about 20% of the world’s chip design workforce? This design expertise continues to expand with strategic investments in workforce education and development.
To that end, Marvell and the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) have launched the Marvell Data Acceleration and Offload Research Facility, focused on advancing network, storage, and security technologies to raise the performance of accelerated infrastructure.
An inaugural reception was held with more than 150 students, staff, and faculty members attending. The event unveiled the research facility and the OCTEON server cluster in the data center.
The Marvell research facility, the first of its kind globally, provides students, researchers, and industry professionals with access to cutting-edge Marvell data processor units (DPUs), switches, compute express link (CXL) processors, network interface controllers (NICs) and other technologies for accelerating how data is secured, moved, managed, and processed across AI clusters, clouds and networks. Industry research estimates that up to one-third of the time spent in AI/ML processing can be consumed by waiting for network access. A key element of the facility is access to Marvell comprehensive software solution frameworks optimized for developing solutions that take advantage of packet processing, cryptography, and AI/ML accelerators integrated in Marvell silicon.
