Leading global 4G LTE alliance recognizes Marvell's ARMADA Mobile PXA1088 LTE single-chip SoC with Innovation Award in the Multi-Mode, Multi-Band Products category

Marvell (Nasdaq: MRVL) today announced the Marvell® ARMADA® Mobile PXA1088 LTE, a 5-mode 4G LTE system-on-chip (SoC) platform, received the prestigious Global TD-LTE Initiative’s (GTI) Innovation Award 2014 in the Multi-Mode Multi-Band Products category from global mobile operators and partners. As a founding member of GTI, China Mobile is projected to deploy100 million 4G LTE smartphones in 2014, enabled by the recent launches of affordable 1,000 RMB (approx USD $165) smartphones from leading OEMs including Yulong Coolpad, Lenovo, and Hisense.
