A great example is Marvell’s successful collaboration with China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile operator with over 700 million subscribers, to develop the China 3G standard TD-SCDMA technology, which has resulted in deployment of high-performance and very robust TD-SCDMA 3G smartphones in China. Following Marvell’s entrance into the mobile market five years ago and continued investment in key technologies, Marvell’s platforms today support the latest worldwide standards in the cellular domain, such as TDD/FDD LTE, WCDMA and TD-SCDMA tuned specifically to be the most complete platform solutions in the industry (powerful multi-core applications processors, cellular modems, power efficient Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/FM/ GPS/NFC connectivity, 3D graphics, HD video, and including Marvell’s leading, high-performance and most reliable SSD technology). Looking forward, Marvell is leading the industry in driving the extreme integration of all advanced technologies – from communication to computing to storage – for use in delivering interactive and immersive live content across multiple screens such as small mobile devices and large Smart TVs (http://www.marvell.com/company/news/pressDetail.do?releaseID=2936), in the home or on the go for the mass market consumers.
