We, Marvell Semiconductor, Inc., provide this Notice to individual representatives of current or prospective customers who provide contact information to receive product information.  Please also review Marvell’s website privacy statement for additional information about how your personal data may be processed, including information about your rights over your personal data.  The website privacy statement can be found by clicking the link labelled “Privacy Policy” in the footer of the Marvell website.

1. Personal data categories

When you request product information, we ask you to provide your name, phone number, address, and email address. When we or our distribution representatives contact you, you may provide additional information over the phone or in your email response. You will know what exact data we collect, because you will actively and affirmatively provide this data to us.

In connection with electronic correspondence, your device automatically provides additional information, including your IP address and, depending on your software settings, how you process messages.

2. Purposes of processing data

We process your personal data to provide you and the organization you represent with information you request and other information we believe is of interest to you; to improve our products, information, distribution, and marketing; and to communicate with you and your organization.

3. Retaining and deleting personal data

We retain personal data as long as we communicate with you and as necessary to fulfill the purposes of collection, unless we are required to retain the data longer for compliance with a legal obligation.

We may update this Notice from time to time, because applicable laws or our practices change, and will post a new version of this Notice here or notify you by other means.

We provide to users located in the UK and European Economic Area additional information this supplemental privacy notice.

2.Legal bases of processing data

When we receive and respond to requests from you, the legal basis for processing your personal data is the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. When we or our distribution representatives follow-up with you with additional information, the legal basis of our processing is our legitimate interest to provide relevant product information to your organization and to do business with your organization.

3. Data recipients

We share your personal data with our marketing, sales and support teams and external distribution representatives.

4. Data transfers

When you communicate with us, you transfer your personal data to the United States, a jurisdiction for which the EU Commission has not currently issued an adequacy decision. We may share your data with distribution representatives in the United States and in the UK and EEA member states subject to appropriate contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
