Marvell 88DE2710 Digital Video Format Converter IC Selected as Finalist for 2007 EDN Innovation Award

Marvell’s Qdeo Video Processing Technology Continues to Garner Industry Praise

Santa Clara, California (February 11, 2008) – anta Clara, California (February 11, 2008) — Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL) today announced that its 88DE2710 digital video format converter was selected from hundreds of nominees as a finalist for a 2007 EDN Innovation Award. Finalists for the award must have demonstrated innovation that resulted in a significant advancement in technology and/or product development in the past 12 months. The Marvell® 88DE2710 has been designated as a finalist in the category of “Multimedia ICs” and is the first product to feature Marvell’s award-winning Qdeo™ video processing technology, which delivers rich high-definition video quality regardless of the content format or source.
